Mezzo-soprano Fleur Barron and the Parker Quartet perform the field remembers (2024), a setting of poems by Victoria Chang and Arthur Sze, at National Sawdust in Brooklyn (map). Linking the ecopoetics of the present with traditional Asian poetic aesthetics and the natural world, the work also includes Sze’s translations of Tao Qian.
